C6H5 is a electron withdrawing group so if transfer the pie electrons towards right side it gives most stable product

In case if we transfer pie electrons towards left side CH3 already being electron releasing group further increases - ve charge so it gives minor product

So H+ attaches to carbon beside C6H5

And Cl- attaches to carbon beside CH3

The major product is

CH3-CHCl-CH2-C6H5
