Formula of calcium hydroxide = Ca(OH)2

No. of atoms of calcium = 1

No. of atoms of oxygen = 2

No. of hydrogen = 2

Therefore mass of calcium hydroxide

= 40u + 2 x 16u + 1 x 2u

= 40u + 32u + 2u

= 74u

So molecular mass of calcium hydroxide is 72u.
