Answer:

1) 36/100 = 0.36. it is a terminating decimal expansion

3) zero of the polynomial p(x) = 2x+1

put p(x) = 0

2x+1 = 0

x = -1/2

Therefore zero of the polynomial p(x) = 2x+1 is -1/2.

4) ASA (Angle-Side- Angle):- If any two angles and side included between the angles of one triangle are equivalent to the corresponding two angles and side included between the angles of the second triangle, then the two triangles are said to be congruent by ASA rule.

5) A linear pair of angles is formed when two lines intersect. Two angles are said to be linear if they are adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines. The measure of a straight angle is 180 degrees, so a linear pair of angles must add up to 180 degrees.

solve

1: five rational numbers between 3/5 and 4/5

(3/5)*(6/6) = 18/30

(4/5) *(6/6) = 24/30

Therefore five rational number between 3/5 and 4/5 are 19/30, 20/30, 21/30, 22/30, 23/30

3. Simplify: (32)^1/5

= (2^5)^1/5

=2 Ans

4. Check whether -2 and 2 are zero's of the polynomial x+2.

p(x) = x+2

p(-2) = -2 +2

= 0

Therefore (-2) is a factor of given polynomial

p(2) = 2+2

=4

Therefore 2 is not a factor of given polynomial

5. Find the remainder when x4+x3-2x2+X+1 is divided by x-1.

p(x) = x^4+x^3-2x^2+X+1

put x = 1 in p(x)

p(1) = 1 + 1- 2+ 1+ 1

p(1) = 4 -2

=2

Ans: Remainder is 2
