In the reaction:
Ca(OH)2(aq)+2+2HNO3(aq)--->2H2O(l)+Ca(NO3)(aq)
- Is a double dislacement reaction.
- Calcium displaces Hydroxide ion and combines with nitrate ion to form Calcium nitrate.
- While in Nitric acid Hydrogen gets dispaced and gets attached with hydroxide ion to form water molecule.
