Ca someone explain more about concave and convex lenses and how light passes through them?

A concave lens is a lens which diverges light rays after refraction through it.Such a lens is thinner at the middle and thickest towards its ends.
A convex lens is a lens which converges light rays after refraction through it.Such a lens is thickest at the middle and thinner towards its ends.

A convex lens is thicker at the centre than at the edges.

Concave Lens
A concave lens is thinner at the centre than at the edges.
