- Angle AOC and Angle BOD are vertically opposite angles so their value will be equal to each other.
Given;
Angle AOC + Angle BOD = 284.
2 × ( angle AOC) =284
( as AOC and BOD are equal )
Angle AOC = 284/2
=> Angle AOC = Angle BOD = 142.
- sum of all the angles in a straight line is equal to 180.
Angle AOC and Angle BOC lie on same straight line AB , their values will add up to 180.
We know the value of Angle AOC= 142.
Angle AOC + Angle BOC = 180
Angle BOC = 180-(Angle AOC).
Angle BOC = 38.
Angle AOD = 38.( Angle AOD and Angle BOC are vertically opposite angles so their value will be equal to each other)
