Caco3=cao+co2 whether it is endothermic or exothermic

endothermic because Caco3 are breaking for cao +co2

the above reaction is a decomposition reaction
you have to supply heat to break calcium carbonate into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide.
In any reaction when heat is supplied to carry out that reaction,such reaction is called an endothermic reaction like photosynthesis.....
now decide by urself whether it is endothermic or exothermic reaction.........
