CaCO3  ==>   Ca O + CO2

Molecular mass of Ca CO3 = 100 amu

number of moles of Calcium carbonate in 25 gms = 25/100 = 1/4

Number of moles of Calcium Oxide or CO2 produced = 1/4

molecular mass of CO2 = 44 gms

mass of CO2 produced / liberated = 1/4 * 44 = 11 grams
