The dead body of Julius Caesar, plays a very important role in the development of the play. After Brutus' speech, Antony addresses the mob directly. He invites the mob to take a circle around Caesar's dead body and observe his wounds. This aroused pity in the hearts of the mob and reding him proved that caesar was not ambitious.
