Answer: 1.24g

Explanation:

vol of Hcl=50ml

molarity of 50ml Hcl=0.5M

1 M of HCl=36.5g (cl=35.5 and h=1)

0.5M of Hcl=x

x=36.5x0.5= 18.25g

mass of Hcl in 50mL= 36.5x0.5x50/ 1000=0.912g

2x36.5 (2 moles of Hcl)---> 100g of CaCo3

0.912g of Hcl--->x Caco3

x=100x0.912/73= 1.24g
