calcium hydroxide reacts with phosphoric acid to produce water. when calcium hydroxide is put into phosphoric acid, calcium phosphate is precipitated out in form of water. it is a neutralization reaction, and yields salt and water as result.

balanced equation:-
3Ca(OH)2+2H3PO4 ---->Ca3(O4)2+6H2O
