That's right..!

Calcium oxide reacts vigorously with water to give calcium hydroxide and heat. Since heat is evolved in this reaction, it is an example for exothermic reaction.

Ie Cao + H2O = Ca(OH) 2 + heat

This reaction is also an example for combination reaction...
