Answer:

given:-

mass,m = 10g = 0.01 kg

speed,v = 10m/s

momentum,p = ?

formula used here,

p = mv

p = mv

p = 0.01 × 10m/s

p = 0.1 kg m/s

therefore momentum is 0.1 kg m/s

Answer:

intial velocity u = 10 m/s and final

velocity v = 0 ( rest)

so the change in momentum will be

Δp = MΔv = m ( v - u) = 1kg (0 - 10 ) = - 10 kg /s

so magnitude of the impulse will be 10 kg m/s
