Answer:

a) R = 100*SI / P*T

P = 4479

T = 3 years

SI = Amount - Principal

= 6494.55 - 4479 = 2015.55

R = 100* 2015.55 / 4479*3

= 201555/ 13437 = 15%

∴ Rate of interest = 15% pa

b) T = 100*SI / P*R

P = 6000

R = 15% quaterly

NOTE :- A quater  = 4 yeras

So, R = 15 * 4

SI = Amount - Principal

= 8250 - 6000 = 2250

T = 100*2250 / 6000* 15* 4

= 225000/ 360000 = 5/8

C) P = 100*SI / R*T

SI = 3857.5

R = 4.5% per month

T = 6 years = 72MONTHS

{ ∵ 1 year = 12 months So, 6 years = 6*12 = 72 months }

P = 100*3847.5 / 4.5 * 72

= 384750 / 324

= 1187.5
