c is concentration of the solution,

l is the path length of cell.

Here given, the 90% light absorbed by the solution.

Therefore, transmitted light,  = 100 - 90 = 10%

So, T = 0.1

Absorbance, A = -logT

A = - log (0.1)

A = - (-1)

A = 1

Therefore, the absorbance of a solution which absorbs 90% of certain wavelength of light is equal to one.
