Explanation:

The normal reaction force acting on the body is being balanced by the 2 N force we are applying.

So, N = 2

Frictional force acting upward = coefficient of friction × N = 0.3 × 2 = 0.6 N

Weight of the body acting downward is mg = (1)(10) = 10 N

Net force = 10-0.6 = 9.4 N downward

Acceleration= Net force / mass = 9.4/1 = 9.4 m/s²
