Explanation:

In case of an equilateral prism

angle of prism+ angle of deviation =angle of incidence +angle of emergence.

60+41 =43+x

x=101-43 =58 degrees.

The angle of emergence is 58°

Explanation:

Given as :

For A Prism

The angle of incidence = ∠i = 43°

The angle of deviation = ∠d = 41°

The angle of prism =  ∠p = 60°

Let The angle of emergence =  ∠e

According to question

From figure

Angle of prism + Angle of deviation = angle of incident + angle of emergence

i.e  ∠p  + ∠d = ∠i  + ∠e

Or,  60° + 41°  = 43° + ∠e

Or,  101°  =  43° + ∠e

∴      ∠e  = 101° -  43°

i.e    ∠e = 58°

So,  The angle of emergence =  ∠e = 58°

Hence, The angle of emergence is 58°  Answer
