lenth of minute hand = 10 cm

for one revolution , minute hand takes

time 1 hour

= 60 minutes =60 × 60 sec

=3600 sec

so time period of minute hand , T = 3600 sec

so angular velocity = omega = 2pi/T

2pi/3600 = pi/1800 rad / s

linear velocity =angular velocity × length of minute hand

= pi / 1800 × 10 cm

= pi / 180 cm/sec
