Since Ethanol has 2 carbon atoms 6 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom so we can get the molar mass of Ethanol as 2x(molar mass of carbon) + 6x(molar mass of hydrogen) + 1x(molar mass of oxygen) i.e. 2x12 + 6x1 + 1x16 = 24 + 16+ 6 = 46
