Binding energy per mole =(Avogadro's number)hc/a
where h is Planck's constant=6.626×10^-34m/s , c is speed of light =3×10^8 m/s and a is threshold wavelength =240 nm=240×10^-9 m =2.4×10^-7 m.
Binding energy per mole =(6.022×10^23)(6.626×10^-34)(3×10^8)/2.4×10^-7 = 49.877×10^-3/10^-7 =4.9877×10^5 J=498770J is the binding energy per mole. Hope it helps you...
