calculate current ,resistance and energy consumed by an oven rated 230 volt 1 kW when used for 2 hours

I=p/v

l=1000/230

=4.34A

V=IR

so, R=V/I

R=230/4.34

=52.99

= 53 (approx)

R=53ohm

E=p×t

=1000×2/1000

=2kwh
