Double Bond Equivalent

= (C + 1) - (H + X - N ) ÷ 2

where ,

C = No. of carbon

X = No. of halogen

N = No. of nitrogen

Now , using this formula :-

D.B.E of C8H10O2 =

=> (8 + 1) - (10)÷2

=> 9 - 5

=> 4

Hence , 4 is Answer !! ❤️

Answer:

You can make structure by yourself and then can count π bonds and ring, that will be your answer.

Or

Can do by using formula!

That is :

c \:  +  \: 1 \:  - \frac{(h + x - n)}{2}

Where,

C represent Carbon

H represent Halogen

N represent Nitrogen.

Given molecule : CH8H10O2

8 + 1 - \:  \frac{10}{2}

= 9-5

= 4 Answer!
