calculate distance travel by sound wave having frequency 1000 hurts and wave length 0.25 m.If its travel for 5 sec

frequency= 1000hz
wavelength= 0.25m
time= 5s
distance= ?

speed of sound= wavelength × frequency
= 0.25 × 1000
= 250 m/s

distance= speed × time
= 250 × 5
= 1250 m

hey dear here is ur answrr

f = frequency of sound wave = 1000 Hz

λ = wavelength of sound wave = 50 cm = 0.50 m

V = speed of sound wave

speed of sound wave is given as

V = f λ

inserting the values

V = 1000 x 0.50

V = 500 m/s

D = distance traveled = 500 m

t = time taken by sound wave

time taken by sound wave is given as

t = D/V

inserting the values

t = 500/500

t = 1 sec
