Answer:

(C). 27.52

(D). 57.75

Step-by-step explanation:

(C) Shaded area = Area of rectangle - 2 ×Area of circle

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

Area of circle = π×radius ×radius

Shaded area = 8×16 - 2 ×(3.14 × 4 × 4)

Shaded area = 128 - 2× (50.24)

= 128 - 100.54

= 27.52

(D) Area of semicircle = π×r×r/2

Shaded area = Area of bigger semicircle - Area of smaller semicircle

Radius for bigger semicircle = 7

Radius for Smaller semicircle = 3.5

Shaded area = 22×7×7/ 7×2 - 22×3.5×3.5/7×2

= 77 - 19.25

= 57.75
