R1 and R2 is in series connection.

Therefore,

Req1 = R1 + R2

Req1 = 5Ω + 5Ω

Req1 = 10Ω

Further we see,

Req1 and R3 is in Parallel Connection.

Therefore,

1/Req2 = 1/Req1 + 1/R3

1/Re2 = 1/10 + 1/10

1/Req2 = 2/10

1/Re2 = 1/5

Req2 = 5Ω.

Therefore, effective resistance in the circuit is 5Ω.

By Ohms Law

V = IR

I = V/R

Given,

V = 10V

R = 5Ω

I = V/R

I = 10/5

I = 2A.

Therefore the current in the circuit is 2A.
