Power usage of all Tubelights = 40W \times 4 = 160W

Duration of each Tubelight = 5 hours

∴ Energy in kWh = \dfrac{160 \times 5}{1000} = 0.8 kWh

Power usage of all Fans = 120W \times 3 = 360W

Duration of each Fan = 4 hours

∴ Energy in kWh = \dfrac{360 \times 4}{1000} = 1.44 kWh

∴ Total energy in kWh = 0.8 + 1.44 = 2.24 kWh

Rate per kWh = ₹5

∴ Total cost for one day = Rate \times kWh

= 5 \times 2.24

= 11.2 rupees

Number of days in September = 30 days

∴ Total cost for 30 days = cost of one day \times no. of days

= 11.2 \times 30

= 336

The electricity bill for September is ₹336.
