Answer :

Given -

  • Frequency = 5 × 10¹⁴ Hz

To Find -

  • Energy of one mole of photons

Solution -

We know that, E = hv.

And h = 6.626 × 10^{-34} Js.

We are Given that, v = 5 × 10¹⁴ s^{-1}

Now,

⇒ E = 6.626 × 10^{-34} Js × 5 × 10¹⁴ s^{-1}

⇒ E = 3.31 × 10^k{-19} J

Now, Energy or one mole of photons :

⇒ 3.31 × 10^k{-19} J × 6.022 × 10²³ mol^{-1}

⇒ 199.51 kJ mol^{-1}

Hence, Energy of one mole of photon = 199.51 kJ mol^{-1}.
