Bonjour!
According to the question we have to calculate the energy of one mole of photons whose radiation frequency is 5 × 10¹⁴ Hz
Formula for calculating energy.
E = hv
E => Energy
h => Planck's constant = 6.626 × 10-³⁴ Js
v => Frequency = 5 × 10¹⁴ Hz (Given)
Therefore,
E = 6.626 × 10-³⁴ × 5 × 10¹⁴
= 3.313 × 10^-19
Now we have to find the energy of 1 mole so we will multiply the Energy by NA(Avogadro's number = 6.022 × 10²³)
So, Energy of 1 mole of photons = 3.313 × 10^-19 × 6.022 × 10²³
= 19.950886 × 10⁴
= 1.9950886 × 10^5 KJ mol-¹
Hope this helps...:)
