The equivalent resistance between A & B and A &C are 2.4Ω and 3.6Ω respectively.

  • In between A & B, the path AB & ACB forms a parallel combination.

along the path ACB, the resultant resistance = 6+6 = 12Ω.

along path AB, the resultant resistance = 3Ω.

The resultant resistance about A & B = \frac{12*3}{12+3}Ω = \frac{36}{15} Ω= 2.4Ω

  • In between A & C, the path AC and ABC forms a parallel combination.

Along the path AC, the resultant resistance = 6Ω.

Along the path ABC, the resultant resistance = 6+3Ω = 9Ω.

The resultant resistance about A & C = \frac{9*6}{9+6}=\frac{54}{15}\\= 3.6Ω.
