HX → H2 + X2
degree of dissociation (a)= 20% = 0.2 (fraction )
van't Hoff factor ( i) = 1 + ( n -1)(a)
i = 1 + (2 -1)(0.2) = 1.2
now,
use formula,
∆Tf =i Kfm
=1.2 × 1.86 × 0.3
=0.36×1.86 ° C
=0.6696 °C
