**mass of 1 molecule of water in gram =18 gram

1 molecule of water contain: (H2O)

2 hydrogen atom and one oxygen atom.

Atomic no. of hydrogen atom: 1

so, atomic mass of H atom : 1

as ,there are 2H atom so atomic mass :

2 x 1=2

& Atomic no. of oxygen atom :8

so ,atomic mass of Oxygen atom=16

as there are 1 Oxygen atom :1 x 16=16

Now , calculate 1 molecule of water in gram

**atomic mass of H20 (2 molecule of

Hydrogen atom and one molecule of

Oxygen atom)

= 2 +16

=18 gram
