Calculate mass of carbon present in 1g of calcium carbonate

So lets take tge atomic masses of each element:

Carbon- 12

Oxygen- 16

Calcium- 40

Now the formula has 1 calcium, 1 carbon and 3 atoms of oxygen as carbonate, hence - 12+40+16×3= 100. Now by avogadro’s number (6.022×10^23) we will have mass of approx. 100gms as the mass.
