Answer: 1) 59.6gm

Explanation:

2KClO_3\rightarrow 2KCl+3O_2

According to avogadro's law, 1 mole of every substance weighs equal to the molecular mass and contains avogadro's number 6.023\times 10^{23} of particles

According to stochiometry:

2 moles of KClO_3 produce 2 moles of KCl.

2 moles of KClO_3 produce =2\times 74.5=149g of KCl.

Thus 1 mole of KClO_3 produce =\frac{149g}{2}\times 1=74.5 g of KCl.

But as % yield of the reaction is 80%, the amount of KCl produced is=\frac{80}{100}\times 74.5=59.6g
