Calculate molality of solution obtained by dissolving 11.7 g NaCl in 500g Water

Molality= solute/solvent
= (11.7/58.4)/0.5
= 0.2/0.5=0.4

You gotta put in all the values in the molality formula accordingly and replace volume in liters to grams and that should give you the answer, the attached photo is my procedure.
