As we know that,

molality =

Wt. of solvent

(in Kg)

No. of moles of solute

Therefore,

Weight of solvent =100−10=90g

Molecular weight of HCl=10

No. of moles of HCl= 10 =10mol

∴ molality = 901.041 ×1000=16.79

Hence the molality of solution is 16.79.
