Calculate molarity of solution containing 16 gm of glucose ( c h o ) in 500 ml of solution

Moles of glucose = Weight / GMW

= 16 / 18

= 8/9 mol

Molarity = Moles / Volume in litres

= (8/9) / (300 × 10^-3)

= 2.96 M

Molarity of solution is 2.96 M
