Solution:

Molality means: Number of moles of H₂SO₄ in 1000 g of water.

Moles of H₂SO₄ = 1 moles.

Molar mass of water = 2 + 16 = 18g

Moles of water: 1000/18 = 55.56 moles

Mole fraction of H₂SO₄ = (moles of H₂SO₄) /(moles of water + moles of H₂SO₄)

Mole fraction = 1/(55.56 + 1) = 1/56.56
