Here is your answer

i)   Molecular formula of Methane gas -- CH₄

     C 's Atomic mass  -  12 u.

     H's Atomic mass  - 1 u

     So, Molecular mass of CH₄ - 12 + ( 4×1) = 12 + 4 = 16.

ii)   Molecular formula for Hydrogen gas --- H₂

      H's Atomic mass - 1u

So, Molecular mass of  H₂ - 2.

iii)  Molecular formula  of Oxygen gas --- 0₂

      O's Atomic  mass - 16 u

     So, Molecular Mass of O₂  - 2 x 16 = 32 u

iv)  Molecular formula of Chlorine gas is  - Cl

      It's Molecular mass is  -- 35.5 u.

here is your answer dear!!!!!!

1)molecular formula of methane is CH4

so atomic mass of carbon=12u

and atomic mass of hydrogen is 1u

molecular mass of ch4=

12 + 4 \times 1

16u

2)molecular formula of hydrogen is H2

atomic mass of hydrogen is 1

1 \times 2

2

3)molecular formula of oxygen is O2

atomic mass of oxygen is 16u

o2=

2 \times 16

32

4)molecular formation of chlorine is cl

so, it's molecular mass

35.5u
