Molecular mass is the sum total of atomic masses of all molecules present in the compound

Mass of nitrogen= 14
Mass of hydrogen= 2
Mass of sulfur = 32
Mass of oxygen = 16

Now adding all the molecules present-

= 14 x 2 + 1 x 4 x 2 + 32 + 16 x 4
= 28 + 8 + 32 + 64
= 132 u

Ankit1234: can u explain it please
Ankit1234: actually i don't know how to find molecular mass :(
Ankit1234: NH4 = AMMONIUM
Ankit1234: where is nitrogen?
Dhruv00: NH4+ is ammonium
Dhruv00: and ammonium ion constitutes of 1 nitrogen and 4 oxygen atoms
Ankit1234: 4 oxygen or hydrogen?
Dhruv00: ooops sorry 4 hydrogen
Ankit1234: ohk
