Answer:

Fiven:

a) Mass of elephant =2000 kg

Velocity =5 m/s

Momentum =2000×5=10000 kg. m/s

b) Mass of bullet =0.02 kg

Velocity =400 m/s

Momentum =0.02×400=8 kg.m/s

Given,

mass (m) = 0.02 kg

velocity (v) = 1440 km/hr , or , 400 m/sec

To find,

momentum (p) = ?

Formula,

momentum (p) = mass (m) * velocity (v)

(p) = 0.02 kg * 400 m/sec

(p) = 8 kg m / sec .

above attachment to understand how 1440 km/hr change into m/sec.
