Calculate number of atoms is each of the following. (Average atomic mass : N= 14 u, S = 32 u)
a. 0.4 mole of nitrogen
b. 1.6 g of sulfur

(a) 1mol of atoms contains 6.022×10^23atoms

0.4mol of N2atoms contains 0.4×6.022×10^23

= 2.4088×10^23 N-atoms

(b) no of mol of sulfur = 1.6/32 = 0.05

no.of sulfur atoms = 0.05×6.022×10^23

= 0.3011×10^23
