Number of molecules of water

= Number of moles × Avogadro number

= 5×6.022×10²³

= 30.11×10²³ molecules of water

Since 1 molecule of water has 1 oxygen atom and 2 hydrogen atom

Number of atoms of

  • Hydrogen = 30.11×10²³×2 = 60.22×10²³
  • Oxygen = 30.11×10²³×1 = 30.11×10²³

There are 2 moles of H2 and 1 mole of Oin one mole of water.

then

In 5 mole H2O...

H = 10 moles = 10×An = 10×6.022×10²³ = 6.022×10²4 atoms.

And of O = 5×6.022×10²³ = 3.011×10²4 atoms.
