Hi there,

♤ Given:

• Oxygen sample mass (ms) is 48 gm

• Oxygen atomic mass (Mwt) is 16g/mol

• NA = avogadro's number = 6.02×10^23

• Oxygen atomic structure is

• 8electrons

• 8Protons

• 8Neutrons

~~~~~~~~~~~
◇ Calculate number of moles by dividing sample mass (ms) over the atomic mass (Mwt)
■ n = ms ÷ Mwt = 48÷16 = 3 mols
◇ Calculate number of atoms by multiple the moles by avogaro's number
■ Nu = n× NA = 3×6.02×10^23 = 1.8×10^24 atom
◇ Each atom have 8 units from each partical so,
☆ Number of electrons = 8×1.8×10^24
And same for protons , neutrons
