Atomic Mass of Phosphorous = 31

Number of moles = Given mass/ molar mass

= 248 g / (31 x 4) g = 248 / 124

= 2 moles

Number of particles = Number of moles*Avogadro’s constant

= 2 moles x (6.022 x 10^23)

= 12.044 x 10^23
