Answer:

=1.2* 10^22 molecules. =2.4 * 10^22 atoms. So no. Of moles of Oxygen = 2.4*10^22 / 6.023*10^23 =2.4/60 =0.04 mol Hope it's helpful to u

given-

8.8 gm of CO2

to find-

number of moles of CO2

number of molecules of CO2

number of 02 atoms.

solution-

we know that

1 mole of CO2 = 44gm

44 gm of CO2 = 1 mole

∴8.8 gm of CO2 = 1/44 * 8.8

                            = 0.2 mole

the number of molecules in 1 mole = Avogadros' number

                                                          = 6.022 * 10∧23

number of molecules in 0.5 mole = 6.022 *10∧23 * 0.2

                                                         = 12.044 *10∧22 .

number of oxygen atoms in = 12.044 * 10∧22 * 2

                                               = 24.088 *10∧22 atoms

hence,number of moles of CO2  is 0.2

number of molecules of CO2 is 12.044 * 10∧22

number of 02 atoms = 24.088 *10∧22
