Oxygen gets an oxidation state “-2″ in all compound except for the one it forms with Fluorine. It may then have positive oxidation started as well. Eg. +1 in O2F2.
The sum of oxidation states is equal to the charge on the species.
Assuming oxidation state of fe to be x,
2x-(3*(-2))=0
x=3.
