difference in longitude*4/60

difference in longitude= 70 degree

= 70*4/60

70*4= 280

280/60= 4.6

= 4 hours+0.6 hours

now we have to convert 0.6 hours in minutes so, to convert 0.6 hours in minutes you have to do,

0.6*60

= 36 minutes

= 4 hours 36 minutes

time at place B= 12 p.m.

time at place A= 12-4 hours and 36 minutes

= 7 hours 64 minutes

= 8:04 a.m.

In the longitude system, unlike latitude, there is no easy point of reference, such as the equator, to be designated as zero degrees. To prevent confusion, the world's countries have agreed that the Prime Meridian, which passes through Greenwich, England, will represent that reference point and be assigned as zero degrees.

Longitude is evaluated in degrees west or east of the Prime Meridian as a result of this designation. For example, 30°E, the line that runs through eastern Africa, is 30° east of the Prime Meridian. 30°W is located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and is 30° west of the Prime Meridian.
