calculate simple interest and amount on Rs 3800 for 146 days at 4% rate per annum

We have to find the time in years

Therefore the Time will be $\frac{2}{5}$

Now The formula used :-

$\sf\fbox\pink{S.I.=}\frac{P×R×T}{100}$

Putting the values.

S.I. = $\frac{3800×4×2}{100×5}$

S.I.= $\frac{304}{5}$

S.I. = ${60.8}$

Now ,the next is to find the Amount.

Formula to find the Amount is :-

$\sf\purple{Amount=Principal+S.I.}$

Amount=3800+60.8

Amount=3,860.8
