                   If ' x ' is Third Proportional of 'a ' and ' b ' ,

       Then 
                  a : b = b : x

                     ∴ x = b² / a

Let ' x ' is the Third proportional of 15 and 30 .

            Then , 

                        15 : 30 = 30 : x

                     x = (30 )² / 15

                     x = ( 30 × 30 ) / 15

                     x = 2 × 15

                   ∴ x = 30

The Third Proportional of 15 and 30 is 30.
