We know,

g = GM/R²

Given, M’ = 2m

R = 3r

Putting the values, we get :

g’ = G × 2m/(3r)² = Gm/r² × 2/9 = 2g/9 = 2×9.8 /9 = 2 × 1.1 = 2.2m/s²
